But since this house is so old, would it be okay to go as far back in age as possible.

I am going to try to get the receipts and warranty info from the previous rental company.Should his labor be transferable to me or do I have to deal with the manufacture?

This may not be an option for you, but I got contact information for one occupant (who gave me the other contact info) and I reached out to the people prior to purchase during my inspection period to feel them out.

You’re educating yourself, which is AWESOME, and you’re way ahead of where a LOT of people are at your age.

i've been trying to decide what online tenant check service to use. but i've been reading that some of these services dont give you the info they entered, such as social security number, etc. 

My post was more along the lines of things that might not be so obvious other than 50% for expenses, and check mechanicals for serviceable age remaining.
