If you look at the German village area in Columbus today it doesn't even resemble what it was back in the late 1980s.

I don’t see a resemblance in the logo at all.

If the West side and South side resemble Detroit (and their next to nothing real estate values) who do you think will pay for it? 

I believe prices will soften, as most predict, but do not see any comparisons to 2008 which resembled a pyramid scheme - any equity gained was taken out and fed back into the overinflated economy.

Parts of Auburn-Gresham has its crime challenges while other parts can resemble suburban oasis with well orchestrated block clubs.  

If there were two static, similarly resembling assets it may be doable but there are far too many variables to accurately assess.
