Part of this is on you you allowed them to move in and stay 5 years without it and trained them their behavior is acceptable.  

@William Camacho- A Salty Dog Property Management (but I'm biased lol) is the best vacation rental management shop in Volusia and Flagler IMO. 

There may be a period of a "government shutdown" for a week or two when non-essential personnel would be furloughed and financing of some programs put on hold.That's it until the next debt ceiling dog-and-pony show.

If it were a dog of a property and still penciled like this, I would be equally emotional.

I booked a place for 5 adults and 1 child (16 y/o) plus 2 dogs a couple months ago because of it being the holiday weekend.  

It's important to communicate your concerns with the agent and if you feel uncomfortable or suspect any unethical behavior, it may be best to consider finding a different real estate agent to work with.
