@Jen BorstI admire your willingness to ask what I think is a very intelligent question.There is an old saying that an easy formula to become a millionaire is to borrow a million dollars & then have someone else pay it off (tenants).I made a jump from being a solo single family investor to a 31 unit building with partners then to bigger buildings & bigger deals. 20 years later I am less excited about managing multi-family assets unless they meet a very strict criteria.There are pluses & minuses to all asset classes.

However when you start pretending there aren't negative consequences because "your guy is in office" and the Fed did something brave, wonderful, admirable, or even particularly clever by injecting tons of easy money into the economy I think you need to leave your political hat at the door and deal with reality.

Since they are historic I prefer people who comment positively on that item or admire the unit because of its historic nature.Tips they are going to be a pain lots of will you fix this on the visit , like noticing small plaster defects or asking about our list of improvements.
