If you can't find them at the auction or if it is online, you can take the list of your target properties...maybe 10-20 and find out who buys them and go hunt them down after the auction or when they get the property. 

Once a percentage rent from  all your rental units are taken into account, that should make it easier.

My budget is a little tight at $350K and knowing that my target area Fremont, Newark, Union City are prime areas i may end up getting a condo or townhouse that need some tlc.
