Hello Investors - has anyone else bought real estate through online auction?

It would be auctioned off or handled as a lottery.

Hi Everyone,I realized that some veterans at the auction will have decoys bid for them.

I mentioned these auctions to my dad who didn't even want to hear about it.

Every short-sale I've attempted in the past coupleyears has gone to the wayside thanks to the lenders notwanting to deal...So, I'm curious if anyone is actually making money withpre-foreclosures, auction sales, or REO's.

Find a few dozen similar deals, and try for all of them and you should be able to buy one or two.If it was just foreclosed, it either went back to the bank or now belongs to the winner at the auction.

This was a Canadian buyer who lived VERY far aware and it took over week for the docs to get to us.I also picked up a property at auction last week, that I am rehabbing.

I thought he would have owned the house by now.I'm thinking of calling the bank and seeing if they will sell me the house before auction.

In some cases, you may want to check back with the City, County, etc.. to see if in fact the bid was ever submitted or if the Property will be re-auctioned at a later date.
