Every short-sale I've attempted in the past coupleyears has gone to the wayside thanks to the lenders notwanting to deal...So, I'm curious if anyone is actually making money withpre-foreclosures, auction sales, or REO's.

Find a few dozen similar deals, and try for all of them and you should be able to buy one or two.If it was just foreclosed, it either went back to the bank or now belongs to the winner at the auction.

In some cases, you may want to check back with the City, County, etc.. to see if in fact the bid was ever submitted or if the Property will be re-auctioned at a later date.
