The closing attorney or Title company may be the determiner for an answer and usually at this point in the process as an agent I'd defer to them.As an investor, I think I'd want all this squared away before closing so maybe check with the attorney/closing company.

If I remember right and it is the same person he lived either in NC or SC and was moving to Spain for a year or something like that.   

They are always on top of maintenance and communicating any issue regarding the property and they have streamlined the process so that it’s relatively easy and quick the purchase. 

I think that's what led me to wanting more insights from him!
