I don't see any of it as obvious as contributing your labor by physically installing a roof on a flip or painting the house.Certainly, there are gray areas.

We have a large labor force (H2B)  that's rents C class appts, we believe we will be able to lead them to fill these vacancies. 

Of course I may be biased ;) and for some people, the hands-on stuff really is a labor of love.
