I can drive the area, and research online about trends, but I think if I talk to enough people that have either been selling or investing in the area, then I could pick up enough tips to help me find/avoid the right/wrong areas to be trying to invest in.I just passed the Broker's exam last week and hope to have my license hung somewhere by the end of the month so that I can have my own access to the MLS going forward.Thanks for the referral!

It was trending upwards slowly as I learned which types of notes sold well, and bought accordingly.But, I stopped.

I have a few friends who are RE agents and they say it is the hottest market in the U.S.  

While the trend all point to hypermarket in San Jose and the Bay Area at large, still at its center stage, the trend does not account what is happening on the ground.

@Brandon WhiteLook outside your market like a lot of people here are reccommending, study local economic trends when picking an area make sure the math works don't just look for cheap properties that cash flow, you also want strong growth.

The sterling pounds has gone down over the past few weeks and I wouldn't be surprised if this trend continues well into 2017.

What are the surrounding market trends?

Because the property is in pretty good shape, albeit with older appliances/finishes there might be a possibility that in a year or so, some upgrades could produce a small profit if the trend continues with rising property values as it has in the Denver area for the past few years.
