Wal-Mart, which is huge, can justify owning the manufacturer of a lot of their items.

It doesn't really look much more appealing than say, a manufactured/mobile home plonked on the same plot. 

DW manufactured homes of this age and above account for only about 30% of total mix.

Buying a manufactured/mobilehome in Palm Desert, CA is a little different than a typical real estate purchase.

Also, some people interchange terms casually...if it's a manufactured home that is affixed to the land, it's different than if it's truly a mobile home registered through the DMV.

I have owned my 2003 1550 sq.ft. on 4.75 acres for 12 years as a rental. it is currently occupied by great tenants and rents for 800.00 mo. I intend on keeping it a while. I owe 80k I have about 60k equity in this pro...

I'm now exploring other options for them, including mobile/manufactured homes.
