Hi everyone, My wife and I bought a house right outside Warrenton, Va (technically in Amissville) and we are looking to have our basement finished.

I just finished closing on my first property, my goal is to acquire an additional 10 properties within the next 6 months to a year.

A part of me wants to do a rent to own and keep it one single family 4/2 house and have the downstairs tenants go upstairs to cook food, and just rent it out for him for market rent which is about $2,400 and then give him his $1,200 plus some extra and keep the rest.

Hello Adrian, I just finished closing on my first SFR in Fort Lauderdale which I plan to rent out long term via Section-8.

The basement is designed to be finished with all of the rough pluming, private walk-out stairs, and several egress windows and the finished portion will be roughly 1700 sq ft. 

E.g. let's say some of the properties have an extra bedroom/bathroom, finished basement, newer/older homes, etc.Thanks!

I prefer not to use these at all. but once in a while you get an odiferous guest, even just a strong perfume or curry they cooked..
