My goal is to make residual income and eventually buy another one.

I’ve read the basic books like Rich Dad Poor Dad and the 4 hour work week with some others, as well as quite a few of the BP podcasts and really like the idea of buy and hold rentals to build residual income.

I would ideally like to househack a multifamily in the Rochester NY area to earn some residual income and maybe BRRR my way into following properties.

You need an enzymatic product like the ones mentioned above which will break the urea down, then the ozone generator can help eliminate the lingering residual odors. 

@Basit SiddiqiSo would you say the 121 exclusion now is better to take advantage of than the longer term tax savings and residual income of having it as an investment property?

None of it is allowed in my properties because it can leave residue and odor damage.

But the residual "passive" income is great.
