Attend conferences, masterminds, etc. 

Normally a 2-3 day conference will give you a good basis to decide if you want to invest and some knowledge of what to look for....these are Brad Sumrok, Rod Khaleif, Michael Blank, Joe Fairless Best Ever, and there are probably a few others. 

Am looking for answers and thought a conference in So California or elsewhere would be a great place to navigate, network,etc. 

His years of research on the philosophy of achievement, success, leadership and mastering your mind are in that book.

That said, do not sign an agreement until you know them, have video conferences with them, be prepared. 

@Jonathan Bell meetups are big, networking conferences are big, biggerpockets is helpful, but the most important thing to remember is that you'll want someone that is like-minded and shares your investment ethics.

Found this conference when looking into local meet ups and wondered if anyone here has attended it or heard of it.

I'm a new investor and I'm currently in a course where i paid 5k for a lifetime membership with conference calls once a week with the pros, I'm trying to figure out the best way to proceed in my area.
