I've held onto it mostly because of the appreciation and great tenant.My main goal with RE is using it as a store of wealth and passing it onto my kids.

Hey BP folks,I currently have a duplex in Fort Worth (TX) that has 3 bed / 3 bath on each side with ample parking (corner lot).

I was recently exploring a two-story commercial building for sale on a corner in a growing downtown area.

@Patrick Shep Look for it in the App Store in the next 24-48 hours. 

The biggest pro, is typically you will have a higher rental rate, if your home is already furnished and you have no place or desire to store it, it might be worth it. 

All are local except for one is a national brand auto supply store, using this for a warehouse.
