My question is, how is it that the investor doesn't just skip you (the middle man) and work with the seller theirselves?

I would feel like a weak negotiator if I couldn't at least get them to meet me in the middle, between the appraised value and the original purchase price.

What do you think you getting in the middle accomplishes?  

In 2 years, we will probably be in the middle of a real estate crash. 

It's a bit more difficult if your typing via iPhone in the middle of the night.

(I wouldn't get as nice of a property, I'm sure, but the upside would be greater)I've decided I need to walk away from this one, and think a bit more about aiming for middle of the road in appropriate neighborhoods.

It's not always the best idea to take the lowest bid but probably one that is somewhere in the middle.

At least out our way the day of someone getting in the middle of these deals to make a middle man fee is long gone..
