My thoughts on the property: rezone for manufactured housing park, or turn into an equipment storage yard.

Are there any ppl actively investing in mobile and manufactured homes in the Illinois area that can offer advise to a new MHI?

If you build new and need to choose a manufacturer. 

Additionally the job diversification in Orlando has grown and is beginning to rely less on hospitality and tourism and making waves in industries like financial services, medical and manufacturing. 

(Refrigeration - Not Cannabis) (shame on you;)  (well we are in Oregon)We are buying a manufacturing and refrigeration warehouse with at least $10M worth of older equipment that we cannot use.  

Manufactured homes are okay as well, with the stipulation of them being 1990 and newer, on their own land and have the ability to be financed in the future (never moved besides original placement).

My day job is a power engineer for a chemical manufacturing company, but in the evening I read about real estate.

Its a fairly steady market with a decent manufacturing base with John Deere headquartered here.

I am currently in Business Development for manufacturing company.  

Currently I am an engineer within the manufacturing industry by day, looking to get into real estate on the side.
