Market Cycles Matter More Than You Think: Everyone talks about location, location, location, but understanding market cycles can make or break your investment.

@Celine Suzzarini It's really going to depend on what your lease agreement states and likely what city your rental is located in as there are some city specific ordinances that could be a factor. 

If you might lose a hundred or two a month, then A) can you afford that comfortably with your current W2 and B) is the property at least in a good location that has appreciation potential over the next 15 years?

It's located in an "up and coming" area, where you can see signs of renovations etc. 

This property couldn't have a better location and its charm was evident.

If you have paid the overseas lender 5% and didn´t withhold anything, the IRS will still want that 30% when tax returns are being filed.As long as they are in a country with a double taxation agreement with the US, then they should not have to pay the same taxes twice, but again, it depends on their location and personal situation and both borrower and lender should seek professional confirmation.

You know what they say:  its tough to find good help.Letss see, whether all properties will have non-cosmetic issues really will depend on your neighborhood / location. 

I am currently looking at a few locations/properties though Zillow, redfin etc. to get an idea of the rent/cash flow potential in the surrounding areas.

With out the locations, I can't say which one.
