Is it usually cheaper to purchase a property via subject to ?

I want my current house to be under the business, I'm thinking of having my attorney draw up subject to contract for the business to start taking over the mortgage.

So if an appraiser picks a 1920 house as a comp even though the subject property was built in 05 (had this happen to me last year), they are required to give you more than 10k in an adjustment.

Subject-To, Hard money, Private money, etc.

If you utilize several per year, perhaps 3 or more, then you are required to be a mortgage originator and are subject to the full provisions of the act.The application of the act is very fact specific and legal counsel is very important in this area.

I go to Norfolk frequently for work (DoD civilian) and would like to get to know this market. 

Could someone point me in the right direction or give me a reference to an attorney who would know this subject.

It could be from Cash for keys, Short Sale, Subject-To, or any other creative acquisition.
