Great area....I think the focus there is that there are a lot of homes in the zone....that means right price, need rehab, area close to some demand drivers...like downtown Dallas.   

For example, here in Dallas I can pull crime data online for the neighborhood I am about to purchase in.

@Jenna Walker I dont know whats happening in other markets, but I actually met a contractor here in Dallas who was rehabbing REOs for banks so they could sell at retail prices.

A friend of mine started investing in single family house in and around Dallas/Fort Worth area and he’s telling me the waive of gentrification is moving towards South Dallas.Wanted to have a better perspective from my BP comrades.
