Just last week, I closed on my first multi-family property, and I’m scheduled to close on my second next week.

SW Michigan is a beautiful and growing market, with great opportunities across the board, from family homes to investment properties.

I do work remotely from the home and was also wondering if I could write off the portion of where I use the space as a office on the same home as he’s claiming without causing any flags on the property address.

We are in the hard money lending business for commercial properties - with loan sizes from $500k to $5 million.  

I know it will not be 100% accurate, but I want to be able to have a range in terms of prices for renovations, just from eyeing the property myself.

This is not optimal for return, but I have a similar issue with my properties that if there was not the recent interest hikes, I may have refinanced. 

Here's what I’m considering for each:Houston: Diverse job market and high rental demand, but property prices are rising.Midland: Potentially lower property prices, but market stability often ties to the oil industry.Oklahoma City: Affordable market with decent rental demand, but I’m curious about long-term growth potential.Pittsburgh: Growing rental demand, especially in areas like Mt.

I know an LLC is not necessary to invest in rental properties, but I’ve decided this would be a better option for me in the long run.
