So during the time you flip, you are building the passive stream up so that when you decide you're tired of flipping, you may have built enough passive streams to help you financially through that transition.Another opportunity you have, if it's something of any interest (may not be for a lot), is that you can start making your flipping more passive at some point.

If you are a serious investor the tampa area is good (not too sure about orlando), plenty of "competition" but most are tire kickers, and like Dan said, there is plenty of inventory.

It is kind of cool to me that you brought this up because my latest guest  https://podcast4patriots.podbean.com/e/p4p-007-brian-burke/ ...was also a guest on Show#3 on BiggerPockets and I just read the awesome transcript: https://www.biggerpockets.com/bpp3-brian-burke-podcast-transcript-getting-started-raising-moneyBrian told me I would get tired of hearing his story, but the BP hosts were way more awesome than me at digging into the deals with him and I was glad to see my favorite line from his interview with me was verbatim to 6+ years ago: "I walked out of that room with $500,000 and 28 investors that all had guns."...if anyone has a better punchline than that...I'm looking forward to it!
