I got a lawsuit for half a million, and though it got thrown out i was terrified until then.  

He is selling a property in a rural area about an hour and a half northwest of Detroit.

This is part of the reason I'm obtaining a work visa to move down to the US in the next half year.

Also that there is a learn curve and half of the plan is just to get started.

Plus I know they only want to put in half after all said and done, but don't want the deal to slip away if they need to buy it with cash.Any help is appreciated.

If this is in the wrong forum please advise and I'll move or repost in the appropriate place.I'd like to explain my plan and see what everyone's opinion is.I have been researching real estate through bigger pockets for about a year and a half. 

I say I am sure your not the type that would let some stranger dictate what you do or buy... ( most common response is your damn right I would not) so they are ready for the offending neighbor.Then if I am there and the neighbor try's that BS I say well not sure what your talking about if its so bad why do you live here in the first place. that shuts them up.And if all else fails I tell the neighbor I may just rent this out to a half way house that specilize's in letting drug offenders and other felones get a second chance so its up to them do they want a nice new neighbor or would they prefer the felons.. since they will pay me double the rent.. you just have to be in their face
