Chase seems to be continually running a $500 promotion for opening and checking and savings account and having $15k with them.

Basically, I don't want to chase the market down the price ladder.

You get paid normally as a percentage of gross rents ... well, really rough neighborhoods are much more management intensive with lower rents, so I'd be wary about accepting management responsibilities on those unless you are into doing more work for less money and chasing knuckle headed tenants all around town for rent, then I'd consider passing on those.
