Find a house on the MLS that is functionally obsolescent, meaning it is move in ready, but needs updating.

Would this function like a traditional sale?

My plan is to do my own renovation on the third floor apartment while I live in it, and then move into the lower apartment and do some needed updates/renovations to the bathrooms and kitchens while I reside there. ( all function fine but just need cosmetic updating).

Short of all that, you can hire a contractor to relocate the temperature controls to an inconspicuous location and disconnect the current control to become non-functional.

Thing to ponder as one builds a PC.I do find some stand out and bring value even if they had no guests, while others just follow the daisy-chain of rotating the investors that are out on the circuit.

Meanwhile, there is a strong rental market of more military rotating in behind them who housing allowances to afford the rent..I'm sure there are other opinions.
