Instead on Redfin use the filters to find Comps; properties that have Sold in the last 3 months, similar style, that are within half a mile of the subject property, that are about the same sq footage, about the same vintage, and about the same level of finish.

to complicate things, there is the foreclosure itself (trustee sale) which is held auction style at the court steps etc and then once (and if the bank takes it back) there is REO auctions (like auction.com) which liquidate REO after foreclosure.depending on each state rules, the foreclosure can be halted at some point if the owner cures the default (brings the loan current).

We're basically looking for a full remodel on a 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch style home with a pool built in 72 to use as a short term vacation rental.I'd be incredibly grateful for any leads on good contractors, handymen, painters, etc...We need the following work done.- knock out kitchen wall, vault ceiling, add skylights- all floors exposed to concrete / ground / polished / wet finished (all floors demo - remove vinyl tilinh and carpet)- add some can lights- remove popcorn ceiling in whole house and prep to paint ready - paint all interior - bathroom remodel - replace electric panel (zysco)Thanks in advance - Minh
