It is bigger (about 19,900), and has more than one thing going on (University of Central Missouri, the Gates/Hawker/Enersys plant). 

The more successful modular manufacturing plants we have, the better the industry gets.  

Google, Facebook, FBI, Mazda plant, new Toyota plant are all coming here within the next 5 years. 

As David Greene once said that money should be viewed as a seed to plant.

We also like the employment picture- Hueytown isn’t far from the Mercedes Benz plant in Vance, and just down the road from Bessemer, which has the new Amazon fulfillment center- both bringing in relatively well-paying jobs, economic activity, and rental demand.

It's a lot easier to "close down a plant" than it is to "move a teaching hospital attached to a university".
