My perspective comes as a licensed mold assessor in the state of Texas, and as an expert witness who has testified in lawsuits between parties after the disclosure, repairs, and sale were completed poorly.If your issue of concern is small then I'd say (at the LEAST) you should hire a consultant to recommend how to solve it, and then have them test the air (a clearance test) after any work is completed.If it is a larger issue you may need the consultant AND a remediation contractor.

It is a shame when so many people like to push the Dodd-Frank act when there is nothing to back up what they are saying other then the law which needs to be tried and tested before anyone can say for sure how everything will play out.

Tell them you want to test their services and see how they might be able to help with other properties. it would be a lot cheaper than a re-sod.

This whole step is probably something that most people will want to contract out and I would expect to pay $2000 or so to have it done.Sewer We use septic systems here for rural sewer which requires a site inspection and prec test and plan by a licensed professional ($10-$200 each).
