@Adam Nye The only research I’ve done was going on Redfin and searching Albany zip codes until i found the ones with the most Multifamily properties on the market.

@Adam Tafel Well just highlighted the concerns from the inspection report and stressed the time it would take to get rent ready and with it being vacant would take time to fill, this cutting into the cashflow.

@Adam JuodisI'm no lawyer but as long as you don't act negligently I'm not sure there would be a problem.

From what I've seen it is best to establish the LLC in the state of the property if you are adamant about the LLC thing.

@Adam Martin I don't know about Rentprep does not sound very helpful; the BG check on Zillow is useless, it is mostly 'self entered' so If I get really serious about someone I just get the BG and CC done through my own sources.

I can't make Adam's meeting times due to a conflict but am actively trying to expand my portfolio as well.
