Is anyone investing into STRs and taking advantage of the tax loophole?!!?

Should my parent company hold all of my real estate LLC's even if they are taxed differently (such as between the buy/hold and flip business) or are parent LLCs designed to only protect the several Buy/Hold LLC's because they are of similar taxation? 

NV = casinos, WA has 4th highest sales tax.

Prior to rent control in my market, I had preferred tenant rent, normal tenant rent, and PITA rent.  

Are you planning to do a 1031 exchange or a trust deed to avoid/ minimize the property gain tax?

They can only increase property taxes by a certain percentage each year.  

The company should have made an inspection prior to issuing the policy . 

Make sure to look into supply, insurance, taxes, etc. if you invest there.

My prior tenants of 5 years (and the ones prior to that, who stayed for 2 years) never had an issue.

I could sell the property on the market but I think after fees and taxes, I would be at a loss.
