So, understand that if you are planning on doing your own pm, then you are signing up for a part-time (hopefully only part-time) job, which you still should account for as a separate line-item in your #'s. 

So hopefully they might be somewhat supportive. 

If you go with this option, I would recommend having an exit strategy to refi out of the HML into a loan with better terms.I hope this helps.

I think it's because it costs money to train them and they (mangers) think it's best to just send them out and hope they learn on their own.
