Hi @Alicia Bell I am also getting started with real estate however, when it comes to getting a great gasp on numbers I like Coach Carson’s content (he has a blog, podcast and YouTube) and Chandler Smith (YouTube and blog) they both provide calculators to get started as they too look for short term and long term data on properties.After you learn about the  numbers that matter the most to you, you can create your own excel sheet, like I am sure your excited to do haha :).  

Definitely find a mentor, and I would like to add teach yourself a skill (so much on youtube) about social media marketing, excel/ google sheets, building a website, making effective youtube videos, etc. 

Any books, you tubers, podcasts, etc. that I should look into.I also will be looking to purchase my first house after getting my license, to save on fees, within the next year or two.

I listened to it on Audible, and then got the print book so I could easily refer back to it.You can, and should, also listen to some good podcasts, watch YouTube videos, and research here on BP. 

I watched a biggerpockets video on youtube where @Brandon Turner said auction bids start at the remaining balance of the mortgagePerhaps I misunderstood him or I am not accounting for other variables that the overall cost of acquiring a property through auction.
