Those people made massive returns on speculative investments.There are still great opportunities. 

The SBA will not loan on real estate speculation so the park must be for overnight camping only or at least a large percentage of the income must come from nightly rentals.

Markets with high appreciation rates are expensive and have low initial cash flow... that comes with the territory of having persistent limited supply and high demand ... this does NOT mean that you can't make boatloads of money, and it certainly does not mean you need to be a speculator to do it as many would imply.

There is speculation the gov't may try something to boost homes sales.

We can all speculate and dream but, is there anyone willing to share how they actually invested a nest egg.

That ranges from mobile home courts, raw land, new home speculation,apartments, sf homes....heck, I'll buy anything if my gut tells me I can resell for a profit....I'm heading to Florida next week to see what all the hubbub is down there....I'd hate to miss out on the opportunities that I've heard about down there without at least checking it out for myself....plus I'd like to become a snow bird some day soon......

Isn't this sort of speculation what got us into the current mess in the first place?

I don't want to speculate but all the signs point to rental rates rising in the future.
