I've been reading some of the popular posts on BP about getting started in flipping, but I can't really find any posts that are tailored to young, 18-year-old high schoolers that many people are bound to not take seriously.

They call it personalized and tailored to your own circumstances, but really they run everyone through the same template and the phone calls aren't that insightful.

You are not the only one sending to NODs and odds are they have a large stack of mailers on the table.In terms of copy, I prefer to tailor it to the prospect so something more addressing their financial situation and how you can solve such problem may be better.

I did some research on the yellow letters and I see that they claim a much higher response rate, although they'd be tailored for a much smaller number to be sent out as opposed to a postcard mass mailing.
