Regarding tesla's solar roof, yes it is 5X an asphalt roof, but only about 1/3 more than a slate roof, which is a better comparison.

So everyone coming from the Bay thinks it's a screaming deal in comparison to what they're used to.There's a pretty close correlation between rent growth and appreciation because it's all linked to housing demand.

Unfortunately in the midwest and southern states my current career doesn't pay the same in comparison to median wages in the parts of the country we are looking to move to.That being said im using this information and situation as a catalyst to finally get serious about real estate.

Not only would you have to subsidize this property for the foreseeable future, odds are (with all due respect of course and not to question your PM skills), you might expect the expense ratio to increase under your tenure in comparison.

I'm not specifically knowledgeable about the HCAD Values, but my guess is they are not reliable as an estimate of value except as a comparison of like properties within the SAME Subdivision.For example, I lived and worked as a REALTOR In Austin for 25+ Years.
