We are Canadians eyeing up the market in the USA and looking to start investing in properties across the border. 

I'm in the small Eugene market, which in terms of industry and jobs offers no real reason to be here.

Market being hot helped and no permits to deal.

our market is in Columbus Ohio and we are currently doing infill as a strategy. single family home by right can be built on any infill lot in columbus but for multifamily this strategy becomes part of entitlements and rezoning. 

Which ones will still deliver in a down market? 

Love hearing about what’s working (or not) in today’s market—especially on the multifamily side.

But if costs are high or demand is uncertain, holding onto the land while monitoring the market might be the better play.

Just a heads-up: with the way the insurance market has been here over the past couple of years, this is accurate as of today, but things could look very different (for better or worse) in 6+ months.
