I've joined many of the Twin Cities real estate meetups and made an effort to attend remotely whenever possible—which have been fantastic and I plan to continue attending those—but I've found that some of the challenges I face as a long-distance investor are different from those of many local investors.

After purchasing the property at the beginning of 2020, I did my due diligence to screen and find tenants and I’m so glad I took the care I did during that process because my tenants have been fantastic (pay rent on time every time, neat and clean, respectful, take great care to their portion of the backyard, have asked to make small upgrades and executed them nicely, etc.)
