What do you think about big bear CA. for investors It was the most fun I've ever had losing money.We were looking for small MF in southern CA and started going East in our search.

For example two properties we purchased in the late 1990's in southern Marin county for high-$300K and mid-$400, respectively, are currently worth $1.25 and $1.5 million, respectively, and together throw off about $90K in free cash per year (after property taxes and insurance - both are paid off). 

We had a couple in Southern California that required us to put it on a GFCI circuit or else put it under the sink/readily available with a plug or disconnect .
