You really want to keep an eye on your unit, in and out.3- Higher move-out expense Every time we have rented to a single mom we have found more damages, albeit small, but more damages then is normally found, so higher costs for us and more time delay in re-renting.What we wrote before still goes, we do still rent to single moms, due to the economics of empty units, and the law, but expect a "high maintenance" renter.

But what I am seeing is that due to the economy there are a lot of larger parcels of land that are being lost by owners because they just can not keep up economically and forget to pay their taxes.These lands are being lost due to nonpayment of taxes.
