Those that jumped in were more lucky than skilled, most fail going this route.The legal and compliance areas of real estate and related areas have changed drastically, the difference from a few years past is like the difference between a camp fire and a microwave.  

What I can think of the rest of the work for the house is: Sheetrock, paining, flooring, installing cabinets/counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, tile up around showers, appliances (water heater, dishwasher, range oven, microwave oven), light fixtures, interior doors.I am posting here to seeking advise on any major to-do items I missed?

Residents are not allowed to just put a microwave on a sidewalk.

Are there some sort of mini dishwashers or ones you can attach to a wall like a microwave?

We're just going to get a wall oven/microwave unit instead so we can do a thinner island that takes up less space (18").  

Appliances included are a refrigerator, electric stove, above stove microwave, and dish washer. 

I once allowed a tenant to install a shelf for placing their microwave on.  

Light bulbs were popping, their microwave (or was it toaster?)
