And if we are the owners + the landlord for our own business we can ride the storm if it comes as we the residential should cover more than the mortgage and any rent/income from the commercial unit are just icing on top.

I showed the property to several investors and all the folks looking at it were clearly not going to do justice to the highest and best use of the property, neither for the property itself or the community at large.
