If I had to do it, no way around it, I'd probably be looking at something in an expanding market overseas - Vietnam, Indonesia, someplace like that.

So to be short i live in Croatia and we mostly live from tourism becouse country is rly beautifull so we have lots of tourists each yeah so what do you guys think should i focus investing in rental properties in my city (Zagreb capital of Croatia not near sea and not alot of tourists) or should i buy realestates on seaside and rent them like motels thru agency.

The economy isn't exactly flourishing and many areas of the lake have dried up so there isn't much tourism either.

My vacation rental is located in Hawaii so they have been dealing with home sharing and tourism long before Airbnb and VRBO were born.I also bought my place in a dedicated resort area where condo complexes were built with vacation rentals at the forefront.
