So as a fairly new investor I was hoping for seasoned investors who know their region/ city to provide either steps or things they suggest you look into before investing in a city. for example:make sure the employment rate is increasing/ comparing its increase to the stae/provinceMake sure vacancy rate is decreasingensure there is more then 1 major economic contributor to the city eg detroit was motor town then went bankrupt once recession hit.

I currently work for SEPTA in Philadelphia as a welder/fabricator and while it's a great job I don't wish to see my life gone before I am able to live it, I'm sure you all know the deal with that.I build motorized drift trikes in my off-time (Google them if you're curious) and they're tons of fun.

We're happy with our contractors for the roof, sewer, windows, and kitchens, but we're not quite sure how to handle the garage.We're thinking that if we did a motorized sliding door we could fit 2-3 cars, but we're not really sure if that's the best way to go about it.

its not a great ideadepending on what "refurbished means"- new compressor and no new controls, new fan motor and no new high limit ect...you are better off getting you a unit with your card that has a warranty, with the new controls and led boards these days this would be one thing you wont have to worry about for many years"refurbished has no warranty or guarantee" they call it the five factor, five feet or five minutes what ever comes first after the installationenjoy

Have you called a duct cleaning company.. that would be my first thought,, and second is to put in a switch where each and every time the bathroom is used, the vent fan goes on, this can be wired at the switch,, also I've sprayed Kilz in vents where smokers have lived and this has been helpful.. also consider a stronger motor in the bathroom vent fan and make sure the exterior vent opening doesn't have a bird's nest in it.. and is opening and shutting properly.
