Homes under $250k have still been selling at a good pace.  

Yeah, the market is moving at a pretty fast pace around here.

Things work at a much slower pace here.

The market in this area is fast paced and we have had to pass on some good deals recently because we did not have the capital on hand to close quickly.

And there's so many variables aside from just the water itself, like politics in multiple states, multiple potential failure points (Lake Mead/Hoover Dam, Lake Powell/Glen Canyon, etc), water rights of multiple competing stakeholders with often conflicting agendas (upper basin vs lower basin, farmers vs commercial non-farm users vs residential users, etc.) then there's the Department of the Interior which has ultimate authority over the Colorado River. 

Customer service is attrocious, money moves at a snail's pace, they were very aggrevating to me. 

There are going to be some enterprising attorney's making a LOT of money (especially in Texas with its very strong homestead protections) making a lot of money off the Pace Morby/guru boom in a few years. 

That is the slowest sales pace since August and the second straight month of declines.

The no phone line made communication with them a very slow process, and if your personality type is like mine and you are moving at a fast pace, then this also will be frustrating.
