In order to succeed you have to be bringing something special to the table - either a lot of cash, an ability to wait, exceptional skill with negotiating, the experience & technical skill to solve problems,imagination to see the potential in a property that other's don't ---and of course, the wisdom and willingness to walk away if the deal is a dog.
