The property was built in 1930 and our family is very concerned about the age.

I am 31yrs old married with 5 kids. work a fulltime gig and want to get a little more active in Hampton roads concerning real-estate investing.

My question is, is it possible to get into real estate without having a full-time job(I'm a student) I have the ability to save roughly 10k/year while in school, so i guess I'm asking how I would get financing(if possible) and if any of you have any beginner advice.Thanks!

The mold remediation is probably what should be more concerning than the sheet rock and PEX work.

No right of way taken on side street, concerned about city's perspective, loss of  square footage. 

He's concerned that doing so will affect his future ability to borrow for a personal mortgage.
