If you expect a contractor to be formal, understands a contract, CAN PERFORM, fully licensed and insured, and owns/operates a real business, then obviously you have to pay more to that versus the guy who doesn't understand what a contract is, has nothing to lose, has his girlfriend and his cousin as referrals, and shows you youtube video how easy it is to install a glue down flooring.
