I do not know of 1 jurisdiction who has any kind of "bar" to subletting.

Not sure how rentals work in Texas but in New York you can still have the tenant pay the broker's fee.All the best!

In New York State where most of my properties are I HAVE to use an attorney if the property is held in an LLC.

Call your county's bar association and get refered a lawyer.
