And you will say the LLC is paying the mortgage- well tell that to a judge when the loan is in your name. 

I've done a lot of value add as well so that helped speed up the process.

Considering the area  I am not sure how this poster's LTRs are going, but I own 2 in the area and have helped multiple investors buy and then lease their LTRs in the Buda/Kyle area as well - all are cash flowing.

To find good deals, consider networking with agents and local investors, as well as using MLS, off-market listings, and auctions.

I'm a huge fan of San Antonio as an STR market, but it is, like most "mature" markets, very sensitive about WHAT performs well. 

That said, no matter the size of the property, the right team makes or breaks the deal—experienced management, solid underwriting, and a clear game plan determine how well the property performs long-term.

I see that you are in Royal Oak, I know that area pretty well.

While you should always consult a CPA and/or attorney for their professional advice, here's my 3 cents (I'm sure others will chime in as well):1) Having an LLC may make it "easier" to track but it's not needed in this situation as you can run this through your personal return just as well.
