I am very busy and thought it may be good to have some extra support to manage it. 

Were thinking in the next 5 years our other rental is paid off with some extra effort on our end, then that money helps us pay the next purchase much quicker etc.Regarding home quality, we would only purchase a home that we could live in if necessary.

Would you expect the property to need extra security?

Take the monthly payment for the other debt you’ve paid and make that an extra payment on the debt with the smallest balance.
