Way back then in Texas you could go straight to getting a broker license if you had enough points and with my degree I could get a broker license if I passed the test and I did and I kept it for about 30 years.

I don't know what your brokers underwriting guidelines were that did not allow the financing, but I would assume it was around the mobile home.
